3 Shot in Early Morning Armed Robbery in South Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Southern District.

On Jan. 20, at approximately 4:56 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of walk-in shooting victims.

Upon arrival, officers located a 41-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman with apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. A third victim, a 29-year-old woman, was later located at a different area hospital, also suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigations revealed that all three victims were shot during the course of an armed robbery on the 2400 block of Westport Street.
