29-Year-Old Man Arrested for Attempted Murder

A 29-year-old man has been arrested for the attempted murder of an adult man on June 25. 

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Eric Townes, 29, a month after the incident on the 3700 block of Cranston Avenue, where an adult man was found suffering from stab wounds to his chest. 

On July 29, at approximately 10:30 a.m., members of the Warrant Task Force and Anne Arundel County K9 officers located and arrested 29-year-old Eric Townes at a home in Odenton, Maryland. 

Following his arrest, Townes was transported to Baltimore’s Southern District, and then to Central Booking, where he has been charged with first-degree attempted murder and various deadly weapons charges. 

Eric Townes is currently waiting to see a court commissioner.
