In reference to one of several shootings that occurred in downtown Baltimore over the weekend, investigators have arrested 28-year-old Sami Haroon.
Haroon was arrested in connection to the shooting of a 31-year-old man that occurred Nov. 22, on the 300 block of W. Lombard Street. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:27 a.m.
Before booking Haroon, officers transported him to an area hospital for injuries he sustained prior to being taken into custody.
Following medical treatment, Haroon was transported to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.
The shooting came less than seven hours after another man was shot and killed downtown. On Nov. 21, at approximately 8:37 p.m., 23-year-old Cameron Paige was killed during a double shooting that occurred on the 400 block of W. Saratoga Street. The shooting also left an 18-year-old woman with non-life-threatening injuries.
