25-Year-Old Fatally Shot on South Carey Street

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the late afternoon on March 1.

According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the unit block of South Carey Street at approximately 4:50 p.m. for a shot spotter alert, where they found a  25-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. 

The medics took the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.
