The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northwest District.
On April 19, at approximately 4:47 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting at a home on the 3300 block of Winterbourne Avenue.
Inside the home, officers located a 24-year-old woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to her leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident stemmed from domestic matters.
Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating.
