Parkville resident Brandon Beshore was arrested in connection to a homicide on June 21.
According to a press release, at around 8:00 a.m. on Monday, an off-duty officer was traveling on the 1900 block of Belair Road when he came across a serious assault. After calling for on-duty units to respond, he found an unconscious adult man who had been stabbed multiple times.
The officer then observed the suspect, later identified as Beshore, trying to leave the scene on a bicycle.
Beshore, 24, was detained until backup units arrived, and the victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he died shortly after arrival.
Beshore is charged with first and second-degree murder, manslaughter, and first and second-degree assault.
He is waiting in central booking to see a court commissioner.
