The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the early morning hours of June 26.
According to a news release, officers in the vicinity of Mondawmin Mall were called to the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue around 4:03 a.m. for reports of a shooting, where inside the dwelling officers found a 23-year-old woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to an area hospital.
