23-Year-Old Man Injured in Oldtown Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting in the Central District.

On March 1, at approximately 1:57 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Orleans Street following a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers found evidence of a crime scene but were unable to locate a victim.

Shortly after, officers received a report of a shooting victim seeking treatment at a local hospital, where they observed a 23-year-old man being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Central District shooting detectives have taken over the investigation.
