A 23-year-old man has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 37-year-old man on Aug. 6.
The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Darius Peay, 23, two weeks after the incident on the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, where officers were told the 37-year-old man was at an area hospital.
Investigators believe Peay shot a 37-year-old male at the corner of Laurens at Pennsylvania Avenue, following a dispute.
On August 21, Central District Action Team officers arrested Darius Peay while in the 600 block of North Eutaw Street. At the time of the arrest, officers seized a handgun from his person.
Following his arrest, Peay was taken to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and several handgun violations.
