The case of a 28-year-old homicide defendant, who allegedly killed a YMCA director, was discussed on Oct. 25, but a trial date has yet to be decided.
According to The Atlanta Journal, Kahlil Madden allegedly shot YMCA director Jordan Taylor on November 5, 2019, at approximately 9:42 p.m. at a home on the 4800 block of Clifton Avenue.
Madden is charged with first-degree murder, three counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, felony use of a firearm in a violent crime, first and second-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, attempted armed robbery, attempted first-degree murder, felony use of a firearm in a violent crime, first-degree burglary, and having a loaded handgun on his person.
During Monday’s hearing, the prosecutor said that there was new information in the case which prevented her from making an offer until further review.
Judge Melissa M. Phinn confirmed that the case is set to return to reception court on Nov. 30.
