2011 Shooting Ruled a Homicide After Victim Succumbs to Injuries

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an update regarding a homicide case.

On Feb. 2, 2011, Tyrone Wright was shot in the 600 block of Glenwood Avenue, leaving him critically injured. He was 16 at the time of the shooting.

Wright succumbed to his injuries and passed away on June 8, at the age of 30.

His body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. On Sept. 23, homicide detectives were informed the death was ruled a homicide, caused by injuries sustained on Feb. 2, 2011.
