20-Year-Old Man Injured in Penn North Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation.

On Jan. 11, at approximately 8:14 p.m., officers received a ShotSpotter alert in the area of Francis and Retreat Streets.

Moments later, a call for a shooting was received on the 1500 block of Retreat Street.

Officers responded and located a 20-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where his condition is listed as stable.

Western District detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigaiton.
