A 20-year-old man has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 22-year-old man on March 22.

The Baltimore Police Department reported the arrest of Amir Hall, 20, exactly five weeks after the incident on Reisterstown Road around 8:14 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot to his hand. The victim was taken to an area hospital by medics.

Through the course of their investigation, Northwest District Shooting detectives determined the incident occurred in the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue and were able to identify a suspect.

Following his arrest on April 12, Hall was charged with attempted first-degree murder and is currently being held without bail.
