2 Baltimore Men Arrested in Connection to West Baltimore Shootout

In reference to two shootings that occurred in the Western District, investigators have arrested Michael Reed, 21, and Wesley Spencer, 46, of Baltimore.

Reed and Spencer were arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on July 8, in the 1200 block of W. North Avenue. The two men reportedly engaged in a shootout, resulting in Spencer being shot.

Investigators arrested Spencer on July 9, following his release from an area hospital. He was transported to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

While investigating, detectives learned that Reed was also connected to the shooting of a 45-year-old man that occurred on July 10, in the 1300 block of W. North Avenue.

On July 15, Regional Auto Theft Taskforce (RATT) officers arrested Reed in the 8800 block of Loch Raven Boulevard and transported him to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.
