The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the early morning of July 30.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1700 block of E. Oliver Street around 12:31 a.m. for a shot spotter alert, where 19-year-old Deontay Edwards and a 21-year-old man both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics transported the victims to area hospitals, where the 19-year-old male was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives are investigating this incident.
