The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the early morning hours on May 13.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1700 block of E. Lafayette Avenue around 3:37 a.m. for reports of a shooting, where they found an 18-year-old man inside of a home suffering from an apparent life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where despite doctors’ efforts, the victim later died.
