The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.
On Aug. 12, at approximately 5:46 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Officers located an 18-year-old female suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the hand.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the 500 block of W. Hoffman Street.
