The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northern District.
On Aug. 20, at approximately 5:13 p.m., Northern District Officers were on patrol when they heard gunshots and responded to the 5100 block of Park Heights Avenue.
Officers located an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, homicide detectives were called to the scene.
Northern District shooting detectives are currently investigating this incident.
