The Baltimore Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man on Dec. 23.
According to a news release, police were called to the 1100 block of Shields Place around 2:20 p.m. when they found the victim, later identified as Tavon King, with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Medics took King to a hospital, where he later died.
