17-Year-Old Shot in West Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On March 3, at approximately 2:09 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 2100 block of Westwood Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old boy who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was conscious and breathing.

Officers rendered aid until medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital.
