16-Year-Old Shot in Southwest District Incident

On Nov. 27, at approximately 4:12 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 500 block of Wildwood Parkway to investigate reported discharging. 

Once at the location, officers observed a vehicle fleeing east on Edmondson Avenue. Officers stopped the vehicle and located a 16-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper left thigh. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

A crime scene was located on the 4000 block of West Franklin Street.
