16-Year-Old Girl Shot in Frankford

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northeast District.

On March 28, at approximately 11:32 a.m., officers responded to the 4600 block of Stanwood Avenue for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen and transported her to an area hospital, where she is currently listed in stable condition.

Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
