The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Eastern District.
On Aug. 11, at approximately 5:02 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of N. Castle Street following a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, officers found a 15-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Eastern District shooting detectives have taken control of the investigation.
