The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a homicide in the Eastern District.

On May 7, at approximately 6:13 p.m., Eastern District officers were on a call for service when they heard gunfire in the area of the 3500 block of Brehms Lane.

Officers arrived on the scene and observed a 19-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Officers also stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Mannasota and Brendan Avenues and observed a 15-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment, where despite medical efforts, the 15-year-old male was pronounced deceased.

Two individuals were taken into custody for questioning. Homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
