The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 14-year-old wounded in the afternoon of July 1.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 4000 block of Erdman Avenue around 4 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where a 14-year-old teenager was found suffering from a gunshot to his left hip.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives learned that this incident occurred in the yard of a home on the 3600 block of Ravenwood Avenue.
