13-Year-Old Boy Shot in Leg During Early Evening Hours in Penn North

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On Nov. 12, at approximately 6:13 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 2400 block of Woodbrook Avenue following a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers found a 13-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Western District shooting detectives are investigating the incident.
