1 Dead, 3 Arrested in Fatal East Baltimore Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an Eastern District homicide investigation.

On Jan. 14, at approximately 1:51 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital in reference to a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

At the hospital, officers observed a 36-year-old man receiving treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.

Preliminary information revealed that the victim was shot inside a residence on the 700 block of E. 25th Street before being transported to the hospital.

While canvassing the area, officers took three persons of interest into custody without incident.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
