Two homicide defendants arrested for murder last year will now have their cases tried together. Kalim Satterfield and Darrell Morton are charged with first-degree murder, firearm use in a felony-violent crime, conspiracy to firearm use in a felony-violent crime and having a handgun for their alleged involvement in the murder of Dominic DeAngelo Reid on the 1000 block of Madison Avenue. On March 13, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Yolanda Tanner ruled in favor of the prosecution’s motion to join the cases. Even though Satterfield’s defense attorney, Jason Rodriguez, initially objected to the joinder, he and Morton’s defense attorney, Natalie Finegar, agreed. The cases are scheduled for reception court before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Copeland on March 14 to set a trial date. Read more »
