Baltimore Man Faces Trial After Declining Plea in Walther Avenue Shooting

A suspect rejected a plea deal in Baltimore City Circuit Court after prosecutors offered a life sentence with all but 50 years suspended in connection to an attempted murder and armed robbery  Jeremiah Webb, 20, appeared before Judge Melissa Copeland in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, facing multiple charges related to an attempted murder and armed robbery that occurred on the 6600 block of Walther Avenue with co-defendant Yashmita Gibson.  Webb faces twelve charges, including attempted first- and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, armed robbery, firearm use in a felony-violent crime, reckless endangerment, firearm possession during a crime of violence, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, handgun possession, illegal possession of ammunition, discharge of a firearm, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.   During the hearing, the prosecution offered the 50 year term also requiring Webb to stay away from the victim and register as a gun offende.
